HEART INFUSION AGAR - 500 g
Recommended for the development of fastidious microorganisms and as base for blood agar.
Packaging
Suspend 40 grams of the medium in one liter of distilled water. Mix well. Heat with frequent agitation and boil until completely dissolved. Dispense and sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes. Optionally to prepare blood agar, allow to cool to 45–50 ºC and aseptically add 5% of defibrinated sterile blood. Mix well and distribute into Petri dishes.
